I am an inquisitive teaching artist and collaborator. I have a Ph.D. in theatre from the University of Oregon and have taught in Colorado, Oklahoma, Illinois, Virginia, Oregon, and three times at the International College of Beijing, China.
Previous credits include Anatomy of Gray (dir.), Ubu Roi (dir.), Big Love (dir.), One Flea Spare (Bunce), One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Cheswick), It’s Only a Play (James Wicker), The Importance of Being Earnest (dir.), Avenue Q (dir.), Little Shop of Horrors (multiple productions; Seymour & dir), As You Like It (Antonio), A Midsummer Night's Dream (dir.) and The Boys Next Door (Norman).
I have written, directed, and performed in two one-man shows as part of a trilogy of psychogeographical pieces about the American male experience. Both Good Little Boys and Myths of Masculinities have toured throughout the United States. The third piece, entitled Mamma's Boys Raising A Boy is currently in development.
I am a member of the Voice & Speech Trainer’s Association, the London Psychogeographical Association, and the Stage Directors & Choreographer’s Society.
I hold several honors from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for my work as an educator, a performer and as a director.
